What has Mizuta been up to? I haven't checked his blog lately.
But his last major, full soundtrack was Final Fantasy Legends II in 2017. He has contributed as composer and arranger to a number of projects since then, but only in small quantities.
He must be working on something big! I know everyone expects Soken for FF16, but if FF13-2/3, FF15+, and FF7R are anything to go by, FF16 is likely to once again have a small army of composers and arrangers. Mizuta had nothing to do with FF7R, either. Maybe we see him on 16?
