I think this album is pretty gray. Moshidora was the franchise which originally started as a novel, then the anime and movie adaptations were created. We mostly cover soundtracks that are from games or animations, and then movie soundtracks on an exceptional basis. We wouldn't regard Takayuki Hattori as an anime-centered composer, nor is Sony Music Entertainment an anime-specific label.
The reason Why I don't want to accept something on borderline Vol.1 so easily, with a risk of looking like a mean person, is because it makes us lose the rationale for not accepting something on borderline Vol.2, 3 and 4.
