I have a ton of Super Eurobeat albums from Avex, and with these releases, the /B and /C indicate any old second or third disc that comes with a release (similar to how most publishers use the tilde, e.g., XXXX-31~2). For example, Super Eurobeat Vol. 110 has three discs and has the catalog number AVCD-10110/B/C. There was no one-disc release for this album. For the Super Eurobeat series at least, this enables the catalog numbers to line up perfectly with each new volume. You know that SEB Vol. 192 will have the catalog number AVCD-10192.

The Best of SEB albums that are put out each year use the more conventional tilde notation, though.
