I can confirm that the start of that hidden track does exist on the disc. You need a drive that has the capability to read the "lead-in" area of discs and those pretty much aren't manufactured anymore. And the ones that do exist mostly use old SCSI or IDE connectors so even finding the right hardware to rip the track correctly can be tough.
