I think the buttons are a little bit too big. Also nitpick the order of the link bar. I'd reorder it based on average-case use: advanced, update, submit, forum, market, calender, radio, stat (but that's just me).
Rounded edges fits the with the rest of the site on the index, but either way is fine.
