The pan flute in Byrne's Death and The Final Scene is a Sound Canvas 88 pan flute layered with another flute sample that I don't know the source of, and the synth in Demon Train seems like it might be from the Korg Trinity or the Korg Triton.

Awesome. Thanks for the leads. I'll take a look at the Korgs and see what I can dig up. Unfortunately though, after having a listen I'm afraid you're absolutely correct about the panflute. It's been layered with... SOMETHING, no idea what though. Thanks again.
