Since the old header design was getting rather cramped and showed discrepancies when you moved between the main site and forums, I've done a moderate redesign. All the old links are still there, just ordered and grouped differently. The main navigation row now consists of all the information listings, while the peripheral tools have been moved to the smaller bar. Also, note the links at the top right -- they alternate between login / register for guests, and member menu / logout for logged in members. A feature I plan to add soon is a flashing email icon that appears beside your username if you have unread private messages. Let me know what you think of the changes!
Regarding the
index page, do you think a uniform background color would look better, or the rounded box is fine as it is? Indicate your preference in
the poll and I'll make the adjustments accordingly.
