I'm a trackmaker and I love ROMplers/90s sample libraries and game soundtracks and this thread is such an amazing resource. Thank you Nisto for starting this and big up all the contributors so far.
Just my own modest contribution but recently purchased a Roland M-DC1 module for my own hardware set up and clicking through the presets realised
033 DiscoCga is used in
Wild Nature Blanka's Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 3 theme.
I can't think this is just a one-off, I'm certain the card/module would have got a lot of use elsewhere considering the prevalence of the JV/XP series in the mid/late 90s. Perhaps someone with a better knowledge of game soundtracks could give the preset banks on Synthmania a proper listen through?
Also just a huge fan of the SFZ3 soundtrack in general, it's like proto-grime. Would love to have all the pieces to the puzzle of the synth/sampler set up they used on that one... Third Strike as well but that's all sample based innit!
