I skimmed through the interview in the album and they specifically mention electric guitars, so I think having them all be separate instruments is the right call since there is no credit listed as just "Electric Guitar" or "E Guitar".
EDIT: Also in the game credits, those roles ARE separated by "/" instead of a middle dot. No idea why the album formatted them differently:
