Default Teikoku Kagekidan (#809)

Here is a little bit of background info on the Teikoku Kagekidan I wanted to share with you all. I would have originally put this in the notes, but I was unsure if it should be included there.

NOTES ON TEIKOKU KAGEKIDAN:

Within the "Sakura Wars" franchise, the Teikoku Kagekidan consists of the eight main characters of the series.

The Teikoku Kagekidan itself is a vast organization, composed of many separate departments with different functions. The division that the series' main heroines are a part of is known as the "Hanagumi", or "Flower Division".

Other departments include:
Baragumi (Rose Division: Consists of three VERY effeminate men, one of whom might be gay; duties unknown)
Kazegumi (Wind Division: Consists of the theatre's office staff; they function as the "Bridge Bunnies" of the Teikoku Kagekidan)
Hoshigumi (Star Division: A now-defunct elite combat division based in eastern Europe. Orihime and Leni are both former members of this division)
Tsukigumi (Moon Division: Consists of an unknown number of men in ninja-style getups. Their main function is espionage and stealth reconnaissance)

Although the main purpose of the Teikoku Kagekidanis to battle the demonic forces that frequently threaten Tokyo, they have to keep this knowledge secret from the general public.

To that end, they maintain a cover identity as a performing theatre troupe based at the Imperial Theatre (TeiGeki) in Tokyo (which doubles as their secret base of operations.

The cast of characters featured in the Teikoku Kagekidan is as follows:

CHARACTER : SEIYUU
Sakura Shinguuji : Chisa Yokoyama
Sumire Kanzaki : Michie Tomizawa
Maria Tachibana : Urara Takano
Iris Chateaubriand : Kumiko Nishihara
Li Kohran : Yuriko Fuchizaki
Kanna Kirishima : Mayumi Tanaka
Soletta Orihime : Maya Okamoto
Leni Milchstrasse : Kazue Ikura
