Treasure Hunter G was exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. I used tons of tracks from it.
Rebus was also nice and I used about half of it.
Battle Network is a great one! I'll have to listen to that again soon and pick out "RPG-esque" favorites.
SNKHero, I haven't tried your suggestions yet but I'm always open to new music, which is exactly why I'm doing this project in the first place.
