I'm still in the process of listening, and I am by no means a professionnal. Most of the tracks I've heard really don't have that much improvement, others are very noticeably improved ("Shadow Forest", "Dragon God", "Life -A Distant Promise", "The Dead Sea", "Chronopolis" which have much less panning now), those I could hear the changes instantly without having to listen back to the first soundtrack. For now I feel like not enough tracks got this special treatment so I can't say if it's absolutely worth it, but it most definitely is for me (I may be a bit biased as it is my favorite sountrack ever).
It's still just my first iimpressions but I hope it helps a little !
