It's funny you say that, because I came here to specifically say that I thought the last two tracks
made the album.
I found it rather unique how they played with the themes of the last two songs and applied them to the compositions. (Automatons had an electronic "interference" about it and Ashes felt like an old song with it's monaural mix and filter over it playing on the theme of the song being about the past. The creakiness of the piano player's seat also added character.)
