This scan is fairly typical of what I saw. The group is usually credited for composition and arrangement, but not performance (which is wonderful given their name), where full artist credits are given. I found a couple of albums were performance is given to the "新世界楽曲雑技団 Special Band" (
example), so there's definitely a distinction.
