Volgarizza if I am not mistaken means Vulgarize/vulgarization, de is either by or of. So Vulgarization of Dante, I assume this refers to Giovanni Boccaccio who in his early life wrote not so nice things about Dante Alighieri, the man who wrote the divine comedy.
To connect the dots the play othello is based on "Un Capitano Moro" ("A Moorish Captain") by Cinthio, a disciple of Boccaccio (who talked about dante in his early and later life). Which then a play named otello (based on othello) was made and is the penultimate by Giuseppe Verdi who did an Aria of Ave Maria.
