I guess the problem is that the wantlist is implemented separately from and differently than the collections. I did this mostly to make it simple, rather than asking people to create a folder in their collection called "wantlist". There probably is an avenue to add directory structure to the wantlists, but it might be more like a bandaid when really the system needs an overhaul.
