whether or not "SHINKAI" is the name given to a place in the game is irrelevant. this page is about the album "NIGHT RAID SOUND TRACK", not the game it represents. "SHINKAI"/"shinkai" is wrong anyway, as is "DEEP SEA"/"deep sea"; it's just that the first is less wrong because it actually has something to do with the subject. romaji's a lot like furigana, actually.
(i could always check, though. i'm sure the terms are stage names or something, like mars matrix.)
