The music to Another Eden has been incredible to me. It's still very much a stereotypical JRPG soundtrack, but it's put together so well with Mitsuda directing the music and Shunsuke Tsuchiya & Mariam Abounnasr cranking out the tunes. The game and the story are pretty decent too! Grinding for money/higher level equipment and the gacha shop (which isn't really required since you gain party members as you go along) are my only complaints.
FF Brave Exvius has some great music as well, which is done by Noriyasu Agematsu of Elements Garden. There's a lot of VN soundtracks that I enjoy that are done by him and his unit.
I still want to dive into the Star Ocean game since I haven't played it yet and I've already ordered the soundtrack for it.
