A corrected Side D has a ★ in front of the catalog number on the vinyl, customers aren't required to return the original press. The small blob at the end that isn't in the quote above just says that they're going to use your personal information at the time of order to ship the new items and only for this and will be destroyed shortly thereafter to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.
It's worth noting that in most vinyl collecting communities, misprints are often more valuable than the corrected prints, so if you have a copy of the misprint it's worth holding on to.
