Yes, there was at least one remix from Super Turrican 2 planned, which was later part of the BitJam Podcast #151. It was made by Fabian Del Priore and Jan Zottmann. Furthermore they contributed one remix from Super Turrican 1 for the podcast, but i am not quite sure if this would have been also part of the Ambient/Chillout album.
You can hear the podcast on youtube. The remixes are the ones at 23:57 (Super Turrican 2 - Submerged) and 33:45 (Super Turrican - Steam and Pressure. Both are very similar to the arranged versions on the Turrican Anthology (especially Steam and Pressure), because these were also made by Fabian.
