Schneider is the true identity of Black Color (the first boss in Metal Gear 2). He was also one of Snake's radio contacts in the first Metal Gear.
EDIT: The weird thing is that "Night Fall" is actually played whenever Snake talks to Horry (or Holly if we go by the ports). The BGM that actually plays after Black Color is defeated is titled "An Advance." No doubt that whoever wrote the track list made a mistake.
