Given their track record with upscaling, etc., I'm not sure we can ever expect regular lossless inclusion or similar, but I do appreciate the included files on those discs.
At this point those releases (FFXIV, XV, the revival discs, etc) work better for me, but I can appreciate the sentiment of a sprawling physical release. I grew up loving incredible deluxe editions of my favorite records, etc.
