I'll need to do some more research but,
While many of the photos there are indeed provided by sellers with crappy camera phones, I think some photos are actually big and good quality - it's just that Yahoo uses HTML code to shrink them and provides no way (that I know of) to enlarge the photo like eBay does.
If you can find a way to get the image's direct URL (e.g. inspect elements or disable JS and right-click copy) then you can view the photos at their natural original size.
