Just dropping by this thread after revisiting the album.

Despite some of the track titles being named after Ultima games, I can't recall any arranges of Ultima songs or even just mentions of Ultima by S.S.H. If we can assume that Hiroki Kikuta is a fan of science fiction books based on the track titles chosen for Seiken Densetsu 2, then there must be something about Ultima that appeals to him. I still haven't figured out what L.L. stands for or means.

Although an "original soundtrack" none of the tracks on Side-Z can be heard in the game. Side-Z's release date is the same as the game (2006) while Side-A and Side-B were released in 2003 and 2004 respectively. Both Side-A and Side-B's music do appear in the game. In addition, a few of Side-Z's tracks are arranges of songs from Side-A/B.

As far as the new tracks are concerned, Pagan is top pick for me.

01 L.L. (rearrange version) 5:28
Arrange of "L.L." from Side -A

02 Akarabeth 4:21
From "Akalabeth: World of Doom" (Pre-Ultima game)

03 Age of Darkness 5:39
From "Ultima I: The First Age of Darkness"
Arrange of "Heavy Edge" from Side-A

04 Revenge 4:37
From "Ultima II: Revenge of the Enchantress"

05 EXODUS 3:53
From "Ultima III: Exodus"
Arrange of "Anger Avenger" from Side-A

06 Avatar 3:31
From "Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar"
Arrange of "Rambling feather" from Side-B

07 Warriors of Destiny 5:10
From "Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny"

08 False Prophet 4:39
From "Ultima VI: The False Prophet"

09 Black Gate 4:51
From "Ultima VII: The Black Gate"
Arrange of "Sledge Hammer" from Side-B

10 Pagan 5:35
From "Ultima VIII: Pagan"

11 Ascension 4:43
From "Ultima IX: Ascension"
Arrange of "Black End" from Side-A
