Hi everyone, I'm new here (so let me know if I'm doing anything wrong)!
I made a new YouTube channel, because I want to show people my compositions and get feedback.
My goal is to one day be a composer for video games. I take inspiration from many composers such as
Koji Kondo (Mario, Zelda etc.),
Junichi Masuda (Pokemon),
Grant Kirkhope (Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, DK64 etc),
Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy),
Jack Wall (Mass Effect),
Martin O'Donnell (Halo) and the list goes on....
For now, I am only using piano so I can really focus on the heart of the music before I delve into instrumentation. Also keep in mind the songs are supposed to loop, so the endings are minimal (if i put one that is).
So let me know what you hear in my music! What's good, what's bad, where a song may fit well etc.
This is the start of my journey, so I'd love feedback and comments! Enjoy!
