I just tried it out on my account, and on an account with staff privilege, and both worked. There was an issue with unlinking (by entering 0) where the page isn't refreshed correctly, and it still shows a linkup, so I fixed that.

I seemingly had the opposite issue. When editing
8-Bit Instrumental's artist profile, it showed no forum linkup. And yesterday, after trying to do a linkup and hitting submit, it merely refreshed the artist edit page (without the redirecting.../success page) and still had no linkup, yet
the forum profile displays the linkup just fine. Perhaps the linkup was already in place before I tried doing it, and I just didn't notice, but that doesn't explain why it says there's no forum account linked to the artist on the Edit page. I'm leaving it as is just in case that may help with troubleshooting.
I did try another linkup successfully just now though!
