Here is an interesting one. It didn't instantly jump out at me, and it is one I covered before, but i realized this while humming it one day.
Is it possible that
Zangief's Theme (CPS1) may have been inspired by
Michael Jackson's Bad? It mostly seems apparent in the intro, but there are little bits throughout the song that raise an eyebrow.
Also, this may just be me and an extreme stretch, but to me
the women's team from KoF 2003 sounds oddly reminiscent of
Fire Man's Stage. It just stood out to me, personally, but my ears are probably strange and thus I hear it.
