That's actually not a contradiction in itself - the composers on the Game Boy sub-series were directly employed by Minakuchi Engineering (and Biox for the second one) rather than Capcom, so it's technically possible for Tomozawa to have done the music for Dr. Wily's Revenge, and then Aladdin to have been his first actual work for Capcom.

That said, I still think Osada is more likely the composer on the first one. Granted, the compositions in Dr. Wily's Revenge do seem a lot more complex and nuanced than the ones in SolarStriker, but that could be explained as Osada having better gotten to grips with the Game Boy's sound chip.
