Today, a bit of history.

The "Explosive MIDI Contest" (爆裂MIDIコンテスト) was a series of competitive web events that ran from 2001 to 2004. Participants would choose a song, arrange it, and share it with the public. After the event ended, a questionnaire was held and the votes were counted up. Each contest ran under a theme (e.g. Kenji Ito works only, original compositions only, etc). The "Industria MiDi Battle" festival (battle themes only) was held in 2002 (probably either September or October). S.S.H. participated in this event with two songs: "Holy Orders -Be Just or Be Dead-" (Guilty Gear) and "Decisive Battle with the Wanted" (Metal Max/Final Fantasy VI). He won first and third place respectively.

Note the many old names on that page (including Eru of Aether).
Note also this 札幌電脳兵器 dude which looks very similar to 埼玉最終兵器. More about him/her later.
