I managed to come across the "super meter full" sound effect from the Street Fighter Alpha series today.
It's track 19, sample 2 from disc 11 of Sound Ideas' 1000 series: "Space Shot, Laser". I know this thread was supposed to be about samples in music, but I suppose sound effects couldn't hurt, could they?

Demitri's fireball sound effect from Darkstalkers on another Sound Ideas library. I'm getting the feeling that I could probably find lots of familiar sounds if I looked through these libraries.
