Sadly, it appears Yoshitaka Azuma died of pneumonia in October.

"Yoshitaka Azuma, composer and synthesist, died of pneumonia on October 11 at the age of 64. A funeral was held privately. He is survived by his son Shotaro.
He was active in the folk group 'Itsutsu no akai fuusen'. Amongst his work after the group's breakup, he provided music for the NHK program 'Kokuhou e no tabi' and for the opening ceremony for the Kyocera Dome Osaka."
What a shame, I'll always remember Panzer Dragoon's soundtrack as one of the highlights of the Saturn era.
