I think that the remake shan't be stuck to the ffvii releases when the name will be known
as I heard about the remake, the story should be "longer" than the original game, with new music (but probably based on original), new graphics, and probably new stuff the original game doesn't have (I expect, no I want Cissnei as playable character)
s-e could want to release it in 2017 (for its 20th anniversary)
a tentative title could be Final Fantasy VII -Remake- (if someone'd like to add it in advance)
