Default SYUM-031~2: GHOST IN THE SHELL MEGATECH BODY.VINYL.LTD.

Information gathered from a whole bunch of pages:

There seem to be some inconsistencies with regards to the date it was issued, the catalog number, and the tracklist.

Sony's official site for all the GitS game music albums has the release date as Jul 17, 1997, and the catalog number as SRJS-6004~5. I don't think the album was ever actually released under this catalog number though. The correct one seems to be SYUM-031~2, which is the number I entered the album under in the database.

J.G.M.L. also lists the Jul 17, 1997 release date, but Amazon and the Shiroknowledge site have it as Jul 26, 1997, which is the date I went with also (since the Shiroknowledge seems most reliable). Note that his photo's of the actual LPs look different from the ones pictured on this site though: http://homepage2.nifty.com/denki_kou...oundtrack.html

Maybe more than one version was released?

Lastly, the Wikipedia entry has a different name for track 4 of disc 2, namely "Mysterious Traveler (J.Q.Public Mix)" by System 7" instead of "TO BE OR NOT TO BE (J.Q.PUBLIC MiX)". The "Answers" page explains the track was mislabeled. Would it be preferable to use the correct name in the tracklist instead?
