This release have been delayed a good bit. From the newsletter:

It’s the best of all seasons and it’s my personal embarrassment and letdown to you all that I’m not able to get you your spooky vinyl release of The Cat Lady in your hands by now.

In short: there’s been a second delay after a necessary change in pressing plant. I wish it weren’t so, but I’ve sadly had to resign to it. I’ve been procrastinating on writing this update as I was hoping that during the talks with the new plant, I would have something more tangible to show you.

Production is moving forward but I can’t give you anything juicy quite yet.

I’ve received messages by email and through Twitter wondering about the delay and I’d just like to thank you all for your understanding. But I also understand that a simple apology is not enough.

This is why all pre-orders will receive an additional item/piece of merchandise free of charge after the release of the record. There are some ideas already being considered, including custom slip mats and posters, but for now, I’d like to ask you all to send me a message with any suggestions you might have. I’m open to going the extra mile to make this all up to you.

I would like to personally apologize to those who pre-ordered the vinyl record in the hopes to have it in time for the holidays or special occasions. I’m truly sorry I couldn’t deliver on time. I will do my best to make it right.

If anyone who has pre-ordered wishes a refund because of the delay, do not hesitate to reach out to me. For those who do not, thank you for your continued trust.
