Not that we're heavily trafficked (yet), but I saw
Kevin "Wizwars" Hagge was the most recent signup on the forums, and it made me think about artist association with forum accounts.
OC ReMix uses something similar with its forum accounts linked to specific OC ReMixers, and showing up under the person's forum name in their posts. Here's an example from OCR, where you see "OverClocked ReMixer" under each person's name:

We should do something like that here. It could encourage more artists to sign up, and would be an easy way to see how much awareness is coming from the VGM community.
