I bet it is, if you consider the track record for previous HD/remakes/ports:
- Chrono Trigger DS--Mitsuda came back to arrange
- FFX HD--Hamauzu and Nakano came back to arrange
- SaGa 3 remake--Sasai and Ito came back to arrange
- Tactics Ogre remake--Sakimoto & Iwata et al. came back to arrange
- FFXII HD--Sakimoto came back to arrange
