Sorry for the double post. I just found this guy credited as Hiroshi Wada with the kanji name 和田博史 in the album Alexander Horn Ensemble Japan Jupiter

here. You even can see him in the corner of the cover.
I think it's a similar case of
Shoji/Masashi Togame and
Motoko/Izumiko Fujiie.
