the japanese name is sure not the same but when you say "logically" sorry to tell you that but that "logically" isn't that "logical"
because if you watch the columbia history page on their official page
the jap and eng names of nippon columbia are the same before and after
instead of "succeeded by X", you should use a different way of phrasing it because X can succeed to Y
it's more like "X became Y but returned to X"
