I think my use case is a small subset of the full seach algorithm.
Sometimes, I don't want to go through the VGM database. I go directly to the marketplace and want to see what the market is like.
For me, these are my most common searches:
1) Who is selling albums based on...
1a) title (alphabetical and reverse alphabetical sorting)
1b) release type
1c) price (highest to lowest and lowest to highest)
1d) above or below a certain price threshhold
2) Who is looking for albums based on...
2a) title (alphabetical and reverse alphabetical sorting)
2b) release type
2c) price (highest to lowest and lowest to highest)
2d) above or below a certain price threshhold
Browsing just takes a little too long to navigate through all the pages.
If there is any demand beyond me, I think it would be nice to see if Gigablah can re-use part of his search algorithms for the marketplace. Thanks.
