If he did, then it opens up a number of other questions about the game, as it suggests it was developed by AM2's Mega Drive team several years before it was eventually released, silently canned by Sega, and eventually (somehow) picked up by a third-party. There are several other names in the (extremely vague) credits that could match up with other people who worked on Sword of Vermilion, but chances are we'll never know for sure.

Unfortunately the game itself is nowhere near as interesting as the circumstances around it. :P
