Yeah, old album submission and all, but I'm surprised GOG has the guts to sell+include this with "copies" of the game… This is what's referred to as game-rip, there's nothing official about this release, someone extracted audio and tagged it.

One has to assume they have permission from the publisher, which makes it official. A similar thing happened with Half Minute Hero 2, the included soudntrack when it was released on PC was just a seemingly direct rip of the game files (and maybe even transcoded into Mp3)

Not the case for this thing. I was a member of the board where this thing has been first shared and I knew the guy who ripped it, the "album" has been around since 2006.
Long story short: I know for a fact this "release" is fan-made. EDIT: The Front Cover comes from one of those Blogger/Blogspot folks that used to create custom artwork.
The licensed songs have been added later, but they weren't part of the album, originally.

Kinda stupid they call this a free bonus, when you have to pay for the game to get it… doesn't sound free to me.
