There's some more information about this release here, including a composer breakdown. However, I haven't edited the entry, as there's some confusion over the vocal tracks. Perhaps someone else here can better understand what the deal is... something to do with misprints in the booklet, I believe. Scans would be super-awesome.

Also, does everyone hate this album? :P

I'm not a hater of this album, but not a big fan either since it comes off as something they had to release for a reason other than making an arrange album of Ogre Battle. "Constellatus" and "SHADE OVER" are just awful. "Spectrum" was fun and awesome but it's more like an arrangement from Sword Maniac than the Ogre series, and for that matter, one of Matsuo's tracks was directly taken from a Troubadour album. "Megalo Syntaxis tes Astronomia" is a nice progressive rock medley and almost the only Ogre-related track, but doesn't redeem how horrible some other tracks are.

Anyways what the page says is the composers' names of #2 and #6 were mistakenly replaced in the commentary section, but I think it's not a big deal at all because there is actually another section that confirms the breakdowns of composer, singer, lyric, etc. for the vocal tracks, and whoever buys this album would notice it soon.

If I had a scanner, I could add some scans.

I added some scans of the booklet.

Edit: Well, this is interesting. The catalog number that shows up on the side of the tray is DPCX-5019, but on the back of the tray, the catalog number is listed as DPCX-1006. I'm not sure what's going on there.

It could be a misprint, because DPCX-1006 is also the catalog number for some NHK album:

That looks perfect to me.

It does seem a bit of a vanity project in that respect, although quite a lot of other Image Albums I've listened to do a similar thing. And for sure, the vocals on Constellatus and SHADE OVER are pretty hilarious. Other than that, I like the music.

edit: since there is a lot of original music here, I think it might be good to add "Original Work" to the classification too.

I can't place the leimotif from Shade Over. I can't place Iwata's original melody from the game - does anyone know what it is?

I was excited to hear Risa Ohki on this album on "Innocence." I recognized the voice right away, but had to come here to confirm. She was the main singer for the Final Fantasy vocal albums "Pray" and "Love Will Grow," which I love to bits.

Are SHADE OVER and INNOCENCE swapped on the tracklist and on album scans on this one? As Patrick Gann's review states SHADE OVER is the track where Ohki sings and then Ogiwara sings on INNOCENCE.

Seems to be the case, and the link in the first post says the same thing: https://web.archive.org/web/20070830...e_Music_CD.htm

Quote:
CDの冊子などでINNOCENCEとSHADE OVERが入れ替わっていますが、
INNOCENCEが3番目、崎元さん作曲で、SHADE OVERが6番目、松尾さん
作曲です。(聴けばわかりますけど)
"INNOCENCE and SHADE OVER are swapped in the booklet. INNOCENCE is the 3rd track, composed by Sakimoto, and SHADE OVER is the 6th track, composed by Matsuo. (You'll understand if you listen to it)"

Note that this person also seemingly swapped the composition roles, too. Sakimoto is credited as composing track 6 and Iwata is credited as composing track 3. I don't know where that information came from but doesn't seem correct. The vocalists are definitely incorrectly credited, though. Whether the other credits on those two tracks (lyric, composition, arrangement) are also wrong is up for debate.
