I'm not entirely sure about the booklet page numbers, but after a few minutes of speculation, I think I might have gotten it right.
However the scans I had where originally named: Front-Left (Which is booklet 01-02 together) Front-Right (Which is Booklet Front-01 together) Inside-Left (Which is Booklet 03-05 together) Inside-Right (Which is Booklet 04-05 together) Would be great if someone who actually owns the soundtrack could confirm the "correct" page numbers. |

The booklet is 3x1. From left to right:
front - one picture from the game, three pictures from the game, "the original soundtrack from the videogame" (=booklet 2, booklet 1, booklet front) inside - "a few words from the composer", tracklist, credits (=booklet 3, booklet 5, booklet 4) |

Then I assume I got it right?

Fixed the order of the covers thanks to pepak.
Had to make a dupe of the front for this, that's why i always like to have "linked pages" and not scans 1 by 1. |

Shouldn't track 17 be considered an "Original work" track? Maybe we should highlight it as an original work soundtrack as well?

Actually, I don't know. For me, there should be a differentiation between original work, unused track and image song in the classification field.

Well, we could use original work for now, right?

Where does this date come from? ...not to say it couldn't happen, but it seems to come from the movie soundtrack's release date as I haven't found anything on this particular CD. They could be released at the same time, but it seems odd.
By the way, were these both promo items? This one still says promo and also it says promotional release in the notes. Carried over from the parent album maybe? |

Yes I know they're different, so I'm asking if the release date we have for this soundtrack is taken from the movie soundtrack's release date or not. When I search for info about this soundtrack's release date and include the one we have, January 2000, I come up with articles about the movie soundtrack, not this one. It's hard to find info about this release date, since it's a VGM release in the USA and so it's not dated like Japanese VGM releases. But I'm wondering if the release date here is really just mistaken for the movie one, or if someone knows they were both released the same day (I kind of think not).

Good catch, Medina. Amazon lists this as Jan 11, 2000 too, but I doubt Amazon is accurate at all.
Maybe someone can contact Tommy Tallarico (or maybe someone else who worked on this). I know for a fact that some members here do have some contact with Tallarico. If we're lucky, maybe... Also, I see on some of the covers, that it's (P)1999. I think it may've been released then. Last edited by Nisto; Dec 13, 2010 at 11:35 PM. |

Nah, can't be... the Amazon page has a comment as early as January 31, 2000. Maybe there was a reprint of this though, released in 2002?

Ah. The movie soundtrack was actually released in 1997. And so, this release must've been released 2000, 11 Jan as most sites suggests.
EDIT: What the hell. I scrolled down and saw that the movie soundtrack was printed right before CHA-0126 (CHA-0125), so it has to be true. That movie soundtrack was probably a reprint by Chapter III, and was printed at the same date as the game soundtrack. Sure made this kinda confusing. Last edited by Nisto; Dec 14, 2010 at 02:10 AM. |

Oh, I see... Chapter III released them both. Well, then it's not a stretch at all that they were on the same date. Chapter III must have figured it would be a good time to release both of them or something.
Well, this was fun (I'll remember Tallarico's site now). |
