Just confirmed that Mieko Ishikawa and Hayato Sonoda are the two Falcom Team JDK composers who composed the soundtrack to Gurumin. I just saw them in the game credits, and on the game's GameFAQs page.
So if necessary hyperlinks could be put in place, that'd be great. |

The PC version of Gurumin (which came out first) credits Hayato Sonoda, Wataru Ishibashi, and Takehide Murayama. Meiko Ishikawa and Hayato Sonoda are credited for the PSP game, which has the exact same music as the PC game.

obugger I forgot about the original PC version. Then again, one would assume that the composer credits would remain exactly the same. =/
Perhaps Sonoda and Ishikawa were the arrangers for the PSP score? |

Like I said, the PSP version has the same music; it is not arranged. I don't know what role Ishikawa had in the PSP game, but it was probably something minor. For the past 10 years or so, Ishikawa has been credited as a "Coordinator" or "PR Manager."

I'm going to go ahead and change the year of this to 2004. GameFAQs and Wikipedia both report the same day and month, but 2004 instead of 2005. Falcom's page for it also has copyright 2004 at the bottom, and in the top left corner the updates are all posted from November 2004 to January 2005 at the latest (for a version 1.2 patch it seems), so December 2005 doesn't make much sense.

Bumpity-bump~
Where does the name for the last track come from? I only see up to track 18 for disc 2 on the back of the booklet. EDIT: Upon further inspection of the tracklist... I see that disc 1 track 6 is ティース商店街のテーマ, and disc 2 track 19 is ティース商店街の歌. Were these supposed to match up or something? Last edited by Medina; Mar 8, 2011 at 05:05 PM. |

For consistency in the Falcom catalog, shouldn't the "-1~2" be removed from the catalog number for this release? "GRM-OST" is listed on the back and inside of the booklet. None of the NW1010 releases listed on site append the "-1~2" even though it's printed on the disc itself.

Good catch, those numbers aren't part of the album's catalog number, those are disc identifiers. This album is like a number of DigiCube's old releases, like Final Fantasy VII & VIII OST, Chrono Cross, etc whose album catalog numbers didn't include all the discs - the number was for the entire release. FF8's, for example, is SSCX-10028 for the whole thing. But if you look on the discs, you will see SSCX-10028-1, SSCX-10028-2, and so on (this is actually on the data side in the ring). We don't add those numbers as part of the album's catalog number, so this shouldn't include those numbers either.
On the back of the booklet for this, it just says GRMOST, with no numbers. That seems to be the main catalog number. Last edited by SimonJXZ; Feb 2, 2014 at 08:54 PM. |

Did Yukihiro Jindo arranged all the OST, or just Disc 1 first track?

Might start to do some composer breakdowns for Falcom soundtracks in the future. As for now, though, it is confirmed that Wataru Ishibashi wrote "Friends". Pretty sure Sonoda composed "Who Are You?", "The Legendary Drill", "The Cursed Fang" and "I Guess I'll Have To!", and maybe "The Silence of Negative Ions" and "To the Place We Used to Go to" as well. Added the Official Amazon tracklist since the itunes ones is very wonky.
Also, while digging through the ringtones from the GoG version of the game I found a few English tracks in the form of ringtones, not listed in any tracklist here. iOS_A_little_terrible.m4r iOS_Animal_minimal.m4r iOS_Blast_of_wind.m4r iOS_Bomber_girl.m4r iOS_Dance_in_the_forest.m4r iOS_Euro_beat_poco-1.m4r iOS_Guruguru_tonight.m4r iOS_Junjun_jungle_gym.m4r iOS_Mysterious_ghost_egg.m4r I referenced these tracks on Youtube and found another tracklist. Was wondering if this is the official Mastiff version tracklist, since they correspond with the ringtones from the English version Disc1 01 Guruguru Tonight 02 Ghostly Days 03 Who're You 04 My Pace Ghosts 05 Tiese Shopping District Theme 06 Banquet House 07 Euro Beat Poco 08 It's Terrible 09 Legendary Drill 10 Ghostworld 11 Stage Clear 12 Fog and Darkness 13 A Little Terrible 14 Animal Minimal 15 Guruguru Magician Pon 16 Return to the Road We Came 17 My Invincible Armor Will Never Be Destroyed 18 The Silence of Negative Ions 19 Secret Jungle Survival 20 Dance in the Forest 21 The Rainbow Colored Ghost Can't Swim 22 Sight of Silence 23 Samurai Drill Disc2 01 Junjun Jungle Gym 02 Under the Sky 03 Bomber Girl 04 Omohide 05 Mysterious Ghost Egg 06 Blast of Wind 07 Rocky Nebula 08 Praise for Revenge 09 Cursed Fang 10 Soar Through the Sadness 11 I Gotta Do It 12 The Days of Ending Fighting Are Closing 13 Tomorrow Everyone Will Be Friends 14 To The Usual Place 15 Friends 16 To Make the End of Digging 17 Friends (Less Vocal Version) 18 Tiese Shopping District Theme (Vocal Version) |
