For anyone else that has a physical copy of this - does this have no back cover? My copy came with only a front booklet and no back cover art. It's sealed so I'm guessing that's right, but... it looks cheap and is rather disappointing. Just wanting to make sure I didn't get a defective copy or something.

I don't have this one, but Falcom's Ys VIII -Lacrimosa of DANA- ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK -COMPLETE- ( https://vgmdb.net/album/68531 ) also has no back/tray insert, so I doubt yours is a mistake.

And honestly, I kind of like the way it looks if the art on the disc label is nice.

That's a bummer. Yeah, I guess being able to see one of the discs is nice, but I don't think that outweighs losing the back cover, and more importantly I'd at least like the name on the spine so I can see what it is when sitting on a shelf. :-(

Thanks for the reply, though. At least I know that's how it's supposed to be.

No name on the spine? Did it not come with an Obi either? The Ys VIII soundtrack at least has an Obi. If that's the case, then I agree that would look a little low-budget or cheap. For a commercial release (not an enclosure bonus), I'm really surprised it didn't include one.

It came with an obi, but that's useless after it's been opened because the shrinkwrap holds it in place. Unless you know some way to make it stay on there that doesn't involve tape or glue?

I keep all of my CDs in plastic sleeves. That allows them to keep the Obi wrapped around the spine, while also protecting them. I use these Nagaoka brand sleeves.

Here's a Tweet of mine with a photograph of how the CDs look in the plastic sleeve.

Huh. I didn't know aftermarket jewel case sleeves were a thing. :-) Thanks for the heads up, Chris. This looks like a nice solution for those pesky releases without artwork on the spine.

No problem! Hope you can find some locally to order for your albums.
