I dont mean music games such as "guitar hero". Nor do I mean games with songs in the background.
I mean games where like in musicals, the characters starts to sing their feelings. This cane be just in a small part of the game ("Not For Broadcast" has a dlc called "Timeloop" which has a great example. Also, "There is no game: wrong dimension" has a really good song) or maybe a very large part of the game ("Stray Gods" comes to mind) I love video games, and I love musicals, and I want to find examples where the two meet. |

I remember the following games having some sort of musical or opera scene:
- Final Fantasy VI has an iconic opera scene. It does not have real vocals though as it simply uses a synthesizer for that with text on screen. - Undertale payed homage to the FFVI opera scene and did something very similar in the same style with synthesizer. - Portal 2 has one opera song at the very end with real vocals. |
