Wow, this is the first doujin ever to cover any material from Okami. I don't remember seeing this on any of the lists for C73, which makes me wonder how many smaller circles are releasing small print runs of CDs there.

Also, I'd probably call the Japanese title "Celestial Brush", since that's what it was translated to in the English language game.

Yeah I tried to get this one, but from what I heard from my shopper it was sold out. They do have a mail-order setup on the circle's site but the script doesn't seem to work.

Should Akari Grooves be credited here? She only composed a few of the tracks on Okami, and I don't think any of them are included here, unless one of these is a medley, or unless we're speaking more generically about a "sound team". I'd have to re-listen to the album to find out.

Wasn't there a doujin gamesoft which was an "8bit version" of the Okami, featuring 8bit versions of okami songs as well, so I'd count that as the first doujin of okami music... This being the only CD doujin though, yes.

The 8-bit rendition of Okami was official. It was released on the Okami official website as a prize for clicking on all the characters on their little 8-bit map of Kamiki village.

The only sad part is that the site doesn't seem to exist anymore, which is a shame because it was really well done.
