I need to make note of this album to help me figure out some better ways to handle digital releases like this.

This is the reason why I stopped bothering with this release... Certainly the guy is entitled to make all the changes he likes, but after a while it gets annoying. As of this typing a new track was added and the album can only be streamed.

On how to deal with this type of releases, only idea I have is to keep a log of the changes like I was doing.

Wanted to add a new track, but unfortunately I do something wrong. (I'm new here, was not on purpose ^^")
If that could correct someone, that would be good

I looked at the YouTube channel by Artificial Fear if there are new songs.

Here they are:
26 Ganon Battle 5:13
27 Ikana Castle 3:40

I would update the tracklist myself, but apparently I can not?

You have to submit a new tracklist to replace the older one. We can't edit tracklists directly.
