Default GNCA-7183: Urakata Hakuoki Original Soundtrack
where does "Urakata Hakuoki" fit in the franchise? Is it a sequel to the one that got localized here? Or is it a prequel, or side-story, or something else?

Seems to be a remake or reimagining of the original game (e.g. Gradius ReBirth to Nemesis (Game Boy)).

Interesting.

Hopefully the music will stand up. I have really enjoyed the "historical setting" Otome game soundtracks.
