The article says Fall 2015, so I've added October (mid Fall) as a provisional release month to give people a better idea of when to expect it.

Any info on if this only available for a specific site or something? If it's getting released in November most retailers would have it up by now.

Seems to only be available from ebten so far: http://ebten.jp/atlus/p/4582317080211/

Here is a bit of good news for americans wanting to get their hands on this.

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEODAI-9984

CDjapan apparently has a deal where you can request something they don't carry (due it being an exclusive deal for a certain site or something) and they pretty much act as the middleman. They use the money you use for the purchase so that they can buy the product themselves which allows them to ship it to you afterwards. This rises the price a little bit of course but it's still nice they are doing this.

The soundtrack is done by Basiscape (Hitoshi Sakimoto's studio), so if people can't get the physical album, there may be a good chance it will become available on iTunes in the U.S. Most of Sakimoto's other albums are on iTunes.

The album is available on iTunes (English/U.S.). I've added track times.

I don't think you should add track times for a physical release based on the digital release. They are never correct and I suspect this is a big part of why every single CD I purchase never queries in freedb until I correct the track times from the physical disc. I assumed that previously it was because people update it with the times from ripped versions they found online but I guess this is a possibility, too. This also tells me that digital sources (iTunes, etc) aren't ripping properly if the times from the CD are different from the times they're providing. Maybe they're adding leading/trailing silence or just rounding their numbers or something, but tracks should not be +/- 3 seconds per track (look at the edit history).

Added scans and all that good stuff. I'm not sure if the picture with the mermaids needs an unsafe rating since the mermaids have their nipples censored in it.

Sorry, I was trying to help out. I didn't realize that the editors have a strict policy on how track times should work between physical and digital releases.

If digital tracks have different track times compared to their physical CDs, does that mean for a digital album would need its own tab on the album page to account for different track times? That would mean a lot of multi-platform album releases would need multiple tabs.

There is no policy on it, I'm just making a suggestion. I don't think it's worth adding digital track times when in most circumstances it's not going to match up with a physical disc. And since the track times (if no DISCID is present) is what primarily drives the freedb query, they really need to be accurate.

I don't think digital releases need separate or unlinked entries because their track times are incorrect. I think it would just be better to not add digital track times to albums which have a physical version. The only circumstance where a separate entry would be appropriate would be if the digital version has significantly different track times, like looped vs. not looped or minutes longer or something like that. If it's just +/- 3-5 seconds on most tracks I think that can largely be attributed to encoding issues (probably adding lead-in/lead-out silence). Although you won't be able to figure that out if you don't have the physical copy, which is why I'd (personally) rather they just not be added.

I have a feeling people also add the track times from their ripped versions they find online, if they find an early copy, and although those are sometimes also equally bad, sometimes they are not and the freedb query will hit because it was either encoded properly or it's within the freedb per track error range that vgmdb allows.

*edit*

It doesn't really save me (or anyone) any edit time because we're going to have to add track times from a physical disc anyway, assuming they're incorrect or not there at all. It's just more a matter of the physical disc being the "source of truth", if you will, which is as far as I've known the way it's always been valued here. It's actually a rather simple process to copy track times from EAC but accurate data from source of truth I feel is better than incorrect data from not source of truth, even if it is just interim.

It very clearly says "Soundtrack" everywhere on the physical album (front, all spines, obi, discs, inserts, back), I don't know where that front display came from. Maybe the digital copy? It probably should be deleted (as well as the shrinkwrapped case ones, not sure those need to be kept after full scans are up) but I don't like deleting images because I don't think they're recoverable

Probably a placeholder one that was changed later (ebten still has the space for example). --EDIT: actually it's used in the digital sites, so I've added it back (not as default of course).

The shrinkwrapped ones are fine since they show the soundtrack didn't have any external sticker on it, in case people care about them.
